This hi-performance Pro 180 Equal Force Dunk-Ring is a patented basketball ring from Schelde Sports is FIBA and NCAA certified and features a 180 degree pressure-release mechanism.
This is a top level competition dunk-ring which incorporates the following unique features:
- multi-directional breakaway pressure release dunk mechanism
- adjustable "positive locking mechanism"
- net fixing without the use of hooks
These rings incorporate a spring system which allows the ring to "snap" in all directions to encourage anyone grasping the ring to let go. The ring automatically returns to the play position when released.
The rings incorporate hook free net attachments and are supplied complete with competition level nets
This ring must be fixed to steelwork behind your backboard and not to the backboard itself. If your backboard does not have suitable steelwork behind it, please contact us to discuss the installation of a steel frame by Continental engineers.
As standard this ring is supplied with a backplate with a hole pattern of 102mm x 127mm for fixing to your basketball goal. The ring is also available with an undrilled backplate for custom fitting - please call for details.
